About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Peoria, Illinois. The assignment starts October 12, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognize and treat life‑threatening conditions, assess, intervene and stabilize trauma and illnesses, prioritize injuries via triage, and make quick, accurate assessments of patients’ physical and mental health.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required (depending on position)
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility
