About the Role
StartDate: 10/19/2026. Available Shifts: 12 N. This role is for a travel Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at a busy hospital with a dynamic emergency department and a strong culture of teamwork in Utica, NY.
Responsibilities
- Triage and stabilize patients
- Administer medications
- Start IVs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Current New York RN license or licensure through the Nurse Licensure Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification recommended
- At least two years of recent emergency room experience
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Copy Needed)
- BLS (Copy Needed)
- PALS (Copy Needed)
- CERT-TNCC (Copy Needed)
- CERT-NIH Stroke Scale (Copy Needed)
- SCL within the last year
