MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Des Moines, Iowa. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 12‑hour nights. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
