ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Potsdam, New York. Start date: 10/05/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. The Emergency Department Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients, managing complex trauma cases, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients in emergency situations, including trauma and medical emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs and laboratory results.
• Provide instruction and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.
• Report and document patient progress and responses to treatment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department or Level III Trauma Center.
• Current New York State RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
• Travel experience is preferred but not required.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week.
• 12‑hour shifts.
• Day Shift: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM (4 shifts per week).
