About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for night shifts. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, managing patients of all age ranges and diverse diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patients in the emergency department.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as ordered.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide care to critically ill patients.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department; 2 years preferred.
• MD state RN license (active) or compact license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, CPI.
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:4 and familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage a variety of patient conditions and emergencies effectively.

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30); requires every other weekend and holiday as scheduled.
