Travel ER RN - $2,255 per week

About the Role

Malone Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a 13-week travel contract in Franklin, Indiana. This role is ideal for nurses confident in managing both emergency patients and admitted boarders in a 26-bed Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult and pediatric emergencies, including trauma stabilization, stroke, chest pain, respiratory distress, moderate sedation, IVs, and EKG interpretation.
• Manage admitted boarders in the ER.
• Float to Med-Surg and CCU while functioning as an ER RN.
• Work a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a department seeing approximately 60 patients per day.
• Participate in self-scheduling after orientation; work every 3rd weekend with no call required.

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent ER experience, preferably in a Community Hospital or Critical Access Hospital.
• Previous experience boarding admitted patients in the ER.
• Cerner experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS (TNCC & ENPC preferred).
