Travel ER RN - $2,246 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

About the role

This travel nursing position offers 48 hours per week on a night shift schedule, with each shift lasting 6 hours. The role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with recent acute care Emergency Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, including life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Recognize and prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Minimum of eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
