Travel ER RN - $2,230 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Taos, New Mexico.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment starts on August 31, 2026, with a 12-hour night shift and a total of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level-specific trauma facility
• Perform triage, conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Assume charge responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years full-time Emergency Room and/or Critical Care experience (PRN experience not accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP
• ENPC and NIHSS certifications
• TNC certification
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
• Annual flu vaccine (medical exemptions only)
• Two professional references submitted at time of application
• Valid state license in hand before assignment begins
• Must not reside within a 75-mile radius of Taos, NM
• Must not be a returning staff member unless gone for 6+ months
• Zero-tolerance marijuana policy; positive THC test results in contract cancellation

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of RN experience (2.5+ years considered)
• Previous charge nurse experience
• Experience with various charting systems

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
