Travel ER RN - $2,229 per week

About the role

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the facility in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania (also referenced as Macungie, PA), you will provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, manage critical situations, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This is a 13‑week travel assignment beginning 10/26/2026, averaging 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department setting.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including continuous sedation and IV vasopressors.
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage life‑threatening conditions.
• Perform assessment, triage, and emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and engage in rapid response measures.
• Maintain accurate patient records utilizing the Epic charting system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience required
• 2 years in a charge role preferred
• Active PA State RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS
• Experience with Epic charting system required

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12‑Hour schedule (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM); weekend requirements include every other weekend.
