Travel ER RN - $2,208 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department (ED) at a healthcare facility in Weirton, West Virginia. Start date: November 2, 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: travel contract with MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
