Travel ER RN - $2,202 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Live Oak, Texas (San Antonio area). The position starts ASAP, is a 13‑week contract, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and triage patients effectively.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech documentation system.
• Participate in patient education and family support initiatives.
• Respond promptly to critical situations, including conscious sedation, intubations, and stroke protocols.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience.
• Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS.

Schedule

Available shifts are 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, with weekend shifts required every other week.
