Travel ER RN - $2,178 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Callicoon, New York. The position is a 13‑week travel contract starting ASAP, with 36 hours per week worked in 12‑hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM). Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement care for patients presenting in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment using EPIC charting.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Participate in unit activities and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of medical‑surgical experience and 2 years of Emergency Room experience required.
• Experience in Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) is a must.
• Valid New York State Registered Nurse license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).

Qualifications

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
