Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Wichita Falls, Texas. Job Details
- Shift: 12H Days
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
- 36/48 hour alternating schedule with an 84-hour biweekly guarantee
- Block scheduling type
- Weekend coverage required
- Orientation: 48 hours
- Trauma Level: Facility Specific
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
Experience and Skills
- 3 years experience preferred; travel experience required
- Will consider less experience; first-time travelers not accepted
- Patient ratio experience: 4
- Charting system experience required (Epic preferred)
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Specific skills include management of conditions such as abdominal pain, acute psychosis, arterial line management, asthma, and many others essential for emergency and critical care
Certifications
- Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and potentially CPI, MAB, ENPC
Licensure
- License in-hand required before start
- Local radius rule: not accepted
Additional Requirements
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Available to complete necessary laboratory items within 72 hours of accepting the offer or have a plan in place for completion in that timeframe
