About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking an ER RN for a travel nursing assignment in Carlsbad, New Mexico. The assignment begins November 16, 2026, lasts approximately 13.14 weeks, and involves 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively
• Administer medications and monitor side effects
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
• Apply knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 2+ years of emergency department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• NRP and ENPC certifications preferred

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
• Ability to work in a facility‑specific trauma level environment
