Travel ER RN - $2,099 per week

About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Lubbock, Texas. This is a 13-week assignment starting on September 21, 2026, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
• Manage critical conditions such as CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), dysrhythmias, and ventilated patients.
• Administer and manage BiPAP/CPAP, central lines, IV vasopressors, and isolation precautions.
• Triage patients and ensure timely and appropriate care.
• Float between sister facilities as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of ER experience (hardstop requirement).
• Previous Charge Experience preferred.
• Community Hospital Experience required.
• LTAC Experience preferred.
• Trauma Level I and Level II Experience preferred.
• Valid Compact License must be in hand at submission.
• 2 References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
• Request all time off/specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal.

Qualifications

• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC.
• Charting System Experience: Epic required.
• Skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, CVA, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Management of dysrhythmias, Triage.

Additional Details

• Patient Ratios: 1:3 for Days, Nights, and Weekends.
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.
• Inflexibility beyond contracted schedule and/or RTO may lead to termination of contract.
• Travelers expected to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment.
