Travel ER RN - $2,080 per week

About the Role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Midland, Texas. This assignment lasts 8.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on September 8, 2026. Shift: 12H Nights. Total Weekly Hours: 36.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ER of equivalent size
• Facility prefers candidates with 5-8 years of experience
• Level II or III trauma experience
• Recent ER Travel experience (within the past 6-8 months preferred)
• Previous charge experience
• Preferred experience with Cerner charting system

Skills Required

• Management of various conditions and procedures such as: abdominal pain, acute psychosis, asthma, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, chest tube insertion/management, drug overdose, emergency medications, gunshot wounds, head injury, hyperglycemia, identification/reporting neglect or abuse, infection control, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), dysrhythmia management and interpretation, intubation, isolation precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, splints management/applying, multisystem organ dysfunction/failure management, managing violent behavior, mental/behavioral health conditions, near drowning, 12 lead EKG/ECG obtainment, poison ingestion, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, psychiatric hold, respiratory infection, seizures, sickle cell crisis, skin disorders, spinal cord injury, IV starting and maintaining, suicidal patient management, traumatic amputation, triage, urinary tract infection

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to obtain required certifications if offered
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
