Travel ER RN - $2,069 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Baltimore, Maryland. The assignment starts 11/09/2026, lasts 14 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for allergies.
• Obtain patient vital signs.
• Monitor patients' emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, CPI certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, lift 20 lb (up to 50 lb for patient lifts).
• Good stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
