Travel ER RN - $2,067 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Meadville, Pennsylvania. This is a 13-week contract position with rotating evening/night shifts.

Schedule

• Evening Shifts: 11 PM - 11 AM or 3 PM - 3 AM
• Night Shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients presenting with a variety of conditions including chest pain, abdominal pain, psychiatric issues, acute mental status changes, strokes, and trauma
• Administer medications and manage intravenous drips, including Propofol, Levophed, Heparin, Nitro, Insulin, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with attending physicians and the hospitalist team for patient care management
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Meditech electronic medical record system

Required Experience, Certifications & Licensure

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department preferred
