Registered Nurse – Emergency Room - Travel - (ER RN) in Des Moines, IA. Deliver fast-paced emergency care in a hospital committed to advanced technology and patient-focused service. As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will triage patients, provide critical interventions, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize and treat acute conditions.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Iowa RN license (Compact accepted)
  • Recent emergency department experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • SSN required
  • DOB required
  • 1 reference in entire work history

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification

Skills

  • Strong critical thinking
  • Rapid assessment
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-acuity situations
