Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: Shift: 12H NightsTotal Weekly Hours: 36Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSSTrauma Level: Facility Specific Job Notes:**Experience and Qualifications:** - 18 months combined permanent experience in the ER specialty is required, preferable within one location but can be combined. - 18 months of recent ER experience is mandatory; travel experience is acceptable. - Previous charge experience and specific patient ratio experience are not detailed. **Licensure and Certifications:** - Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at the time of submission; this is non-negotiable. - Required certifications include AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (preferred). - Certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission; pending certifications are not accepted. **Clinical Skills and Assessments:** - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate are required during orientation, with an acceptable score mandatory. - Travelers are given two attempts to pass assessments; failure to do so results in cancellation. **References:** - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. - Co-worker references are not accepted. **Additional Requirements:** - COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons. - The facility does not accept any traveler with an open case or any license hits. - Exemption regarding nicotine applies only to nurses and CSTs temporarily; all other travelers must be nicotine-free, proven by a negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen within 12 months of start. **Travel and Compliance:** - Travelers can only be submitted for one job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. - Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for one year from their previous end date. - BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract. - Extensions are possible, but after 18 months, a six-month break is required unless deferred by the client. **Competency and Modules:** - Candidates must complete Cleveland Clinic Nursing Education Annual Hands-On Competency if on a continuous contract or returning in the subsequent year. - Up to four hours of annual modules are billable, with completion necessary for compliance.
