About the Role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Oakland, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency care in a community surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor recreation
- Assess and triage patients
- Provide life-saving interventions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a short-term acute care hospital
Requirements
- Active Maryland RN license or compact eligibility
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems recommended
- Strong critical thinking skills recommended
- 2 references in the last 12 months
Schedule
- 13-week duration
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
Pay
Pay rate: $1958.00 - $2058.00 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined)
