About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department at a facility in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rapid City is the second largest city in the state, known as the City of Presidents due to its proximity to Mt. Rushmore, offering cultural attractions, outdoor recreation in the Black Hills, and a variety of dining, gallery, boutique, and nightlife options.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient‑focused care in a collaborative emergency department.
• Support patients during critical moments and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Active South Dakota RN license.
• Recent experience in emergency nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience as a registered nurse (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).

Skills

• EPIC skills checklist (completed within the last 12 months).

Pay rate: $1,956.00 – $2,056.00 per week (based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours/week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
