Experience Required / Preferred

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level II Trauma experience preferred
• First‑time travelers are accepted

Certifications Required / Preferred

• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred: CPI, PALS, TNCC

Skills and Qualifications

• Charting system: EPIC
• Patient ratio: 4‑5 patients
• Arterial line management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patient
• Central line care/management
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA management
• General Emergency Department – combined adult/pediatric
• Gunshot wound care
• Head injury management
• Dysrhythmia interpretation / EKG testing
• Other emergency procedures as needed

Licensure and Education

• Active RN license must be in hand at submission
• Third‑party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted

Additional Requirements

• COVID‑19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Travel and Local Policy

• No local candidates within a 50‑mile radius
• Current driver’s license required to verify address
• Travelers may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed

Other Details

• Shift pattern: 3 × 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holidays as needed, no call required
