About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department at a facility in Winchester, Virginia. Start date: November 2, 2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week on 12‑hour evening shifts. Winchester is home to Shenandoah University and offers a rich historical backdrop with sites such as Belle Grove Plantation, Abram's Delight, the Hexagon House, and Glen Burnie, plus classic eateries like the Triangle Diner and Snow White Grille and the Winchester Royals baseball team.

Requirements

• Active Virginia or compact RN license
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Minimum two years of recent emergency room nursing experience
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system recommended

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with ER experience: 2 years
• Licenses: RN (compact accepted)
• Certifications: BLS‑AHA, ACLS‑AHA, PALS‑AHA (copies required)
• Epic experience

Pay

Pay rate: $1,850.00 – $1,945.00 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined).
