Travel ER RN - $1,857 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for an Emergency Department assignment in Cottonwood, Arizona.

About the Role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on September 14, 2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency situations including acute psychosis, arterial line management, asthma, CVA, drug overdose, and intubation
• Administer emergency medications and blood products
• Care for ventilated patients and manage central lines
• Utilize CPAP/BiPAP, interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias, and manage dysrhythmias
• Triage and manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure
• Operate equipment such as Belmont Rapid Infuser, Bear Hugger, and Arctic Sun
• Adhere to isolation precautions/PPE guidelines
• Float to other units as required
• Work two recognized facility holidays

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a registered nurse in an emergency department
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid participating compact license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Travel experience required
• Compliance with lab work, testing, drug screening, and reference checks prior to start

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification
• Experience with Cerner charting system

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
