Travel ER RN assignments in Alexandria, LA place you at a 380-bed acute care hospital, designated as a Level II trauma center. The facility’s emergency department serves 13 parishes across Central Louisiana and provides advanced trauma and acute care services. Alexandria offers a welcoming community and scenic riverfront. Baton Rouge is about a two-hour drive southeast, giving you access to cultural attractions and entertainment.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level II trauma center emergency department
• Perform triage and trauma assessment
• Deliver acute care services across 13 parishes in Central Louisiana

Requirements

• Current RN licensure (Compact accepted, copy needed)
• 2 years of emergency nursing experience
• SSN required
• DOB required
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last 1 year

Certifications

• TNCC (copy needed)
• ACLS
• PALS
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI Blue Card must be obtained within 30 days of start if not yet certified)

Skills

• Emergency nursing clinical skills
• Triage and trauma assessment
• Strong communication abilities

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records (EMR)
• Experience in trauma or acute care settings

Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration

Pay

• Pay rate: $1804.00 – $1897.00
