About the role
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position involves triaging patients, administering medications, and performing various clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients effectively in an emergency setting.
- Administer medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
- Current SC RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date.
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
- Previous charge experience preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Day shifts, 4x12 hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00); weekends required every other weekend.
