About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a Hospital contract in Oxford, North Carolina. The position is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, and 12 hours per shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a hospital setting.
• Assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately utilizing MEDITECH EMR system.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing critical interventions.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and procedures.
