About the role
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for managing patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will assess patients, administer medications, perform interventions, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to patients of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies.
- Assist in emergency interventions and procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Document care and maintain accurate patient records using Epic charting system.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in an emergency department.
- Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
- Experience with trauma and critical care patients preferred.
Schedule
- Will work 3x12-hour shifts, from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
- Every other weekend required.
