Join AMN Healthcare as a Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (RN-ER) in Round Rock, TX. This role places you in a facility known for its high-quality patient care and nursing excellence. The facility is a 209-bed acute care hospital and operates as a Level II Trauma Center, providing 24/7 emergency services. The unit has 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, and 5 behavioral health beds.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center emergency room setting
• Work 12-hour day shifts as part of a 36-hour work week
• Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for patient documentation
• Apply strong critical thinking and communication skills in patient care delivery

Requirements

• Valid RN license (Compact accepted; copy needed)
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• TNCC certification (copy needed)
• ENPC certification (copy needed)
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) Blue Card certification (copy needed)
• Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap in the last year
• SSN and DOB required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Meditech EHR system

Pay

Pay rate: $1,522.00 - $1,600.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule
