About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients
- Assess patient conditions and develop treatment plans
- Perform diagnostic tests and administer medications
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- AZ nursing license
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Experience as a Charge Nurse preferred (additional $3/hr.)
- Willingness to float between departments
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- 38 bed facility
Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Knowledge of trauma level III certification
- Understanding of stroke, STEMI, and NIH receiving protocols
