Travel ER Registered Nurse - $2,207 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in the Emergency Department observation unit at a facility in Rochester, New York. 16‑week contract, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating night shifts (7 PM–7 AM). You will work in a 13‑bed unit providing 24‑hour observation care and may assist ED boarder patients awaiting admission. Schedule options include rotating blocked shifts or fixed blocks (Thu‑Fri‑Sat, Fri‑Sat‑Sun, Sat‑Sun‑Mon).

Responsibilities

• Provide 24‑hour observation care in a 13‑bed unit.
• Assist Emergency Department boarder patients who are awaiting admission.
• Follow rotating or fixed block schedules as requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience.
• For non‑U.S. candidates: 2 years of U.S. work history.
• Active New York RN license.
• Current NIH, AHA BLS, and PALS certifications.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts.
• Rotating night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Weekend requirement: one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Must work at least one holiday during the contract.
• Option to request a rotating blocked schedule or a fixed block schedule (Thu‑Fri‑Sat, Fri‑Sat‑Sun, Sat‑Sun‑Mon).
