Travel ER Registered Nurse - $2,193 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will play a vital role in managing patient assessments, coordinating care, and ensuring adherence to established protocols in a Primary Stroke Center and STEMI emergency care unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and triage in the emergency department.
• Manage dysrhythmias and care for patients requiring central line management and IV vasopressors.
• Provide care for ventilated patients, including BiPAP/CPAP management.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV, PT, RX, and others for comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at the time of submission.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using medical equipment and following strict infection control protocols is essential.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30), with every other weekend and holiday required.
