Travel ER Registered Nurse - $2,174 per week

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a high-volume Level I Trauma Center. This position requires recent Level I Trauma experience, strong emergency nursing skills, and the ability to work across multiple affiliated facilities when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• At least 6 months of Level I Trauma experience (required)
• Experience with high-acuity emergency patients
• Comfortable interpreting telemetry strips
• Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• PREFERRED Certifications: TNCC, ATCN, ENPC

Unit Details

• Acute ED: 36 beds
• Subacute ED: 54 beds
• Trauma Bays: 6 (travelers are not assigned)
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Average Annual Volume: Approximately 88,000 visits
• Average Daily Census: 250–300 patients
• Common Patient Population: Adult emergency patients, Trauma, Burns, Chest pain, Psychiatric holds, Pediatric patients stabilized before transfer

Scheduling

• Shift: Per job posting
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per month (based on unit needs)
• Floor Orientation: 2–3 shifts
