Travel ER Registered Nurse - $1,799 per week

About the role

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. This role involves conducting thorough patient assessments, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams, providing support and guidance to patients and families in crisis, and documenting patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify health issues.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Cook/triage duties as needed based on patient acuity.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide support and guidance to patients and families in crisis.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an emergency department.
• Current South Carolina RN license or Compact license required prior to start.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS are required.
• TNCC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR certification.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
