Travel ER/MedSurg/Swing Bed RN - $2,019 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department position in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. The assignment is 26 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, triage and implement patient care following physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries.
• Plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history and check for allergies.
• Obtain vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; patient moves may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).
