Travel ER Float Pool Registered Nurse - $2,189 per week

About the role

Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN Float ED - Emergency Department Med Surg for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026, at a facility in Garden City, Kansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute illness or injury
• Triage patients and manage triage flow
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer medications as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements

• 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department setting
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (certifications vary by location)
• Valid license and/or certification in state of practice
• Valid driver's license
• Pass background check and drug screen

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
