MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Electrophysiology Technician for a 13‑week assignment in Tacoma, Washington. The position starts 10/26/2026, requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts, and is a travel contract with a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care in the electrophysiology lab by providing technical support to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help doctors detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
• Perform noninvasive actions as directed.
• Review patient history and verify medical orders.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure the area of interest is captured.
• Differentiate normal from abnormal images and communicate results to the physician.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the EP lab.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence, providing timely and compassionate care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of EP lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
