Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during procedures by preparing patients, operating and troubleshooting EP lab equipment, and monitoring patient responses.
- Perform patient assessments, educate patients and families, and ensure informed consent.
- Administer medications, including sedation, and provide post-procedure care.
- Maintain sterile techniques, document findings, and support a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Skills
- At least one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications.
- PREFERRED: Radiologic Technologist license, PALS or ENPC certifications.
- Critical thinking, interpersonal, technical, and physical abilities.
- Effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
