Travel EP Lab Technologist - $2,868 per week
Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of EP and Cath Lab experience for a 13-week travel contract in an acute care electrophysiology lab.
Located in an acute care hospital electrophysiology lab with 3 EP suites operated as a combined, one-team unit.
- Performs electrophysiology procedures including ablations, A-fib, A-flutter, and advanced EP interventions in a high-acuity lab.
- Average of 22 total cases between the Cath Lab and EP Lab; may begin with 15 cases with potential add-on cases.
- Uses St. Jude and Webster EP equipment; Epic EMR (experience preferred).
- Role involves circulating and assisting; core staff handles the majority of documentation; scrubbing in is not required.
- 10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, no call required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in both EP Lab and Cath Lab settings.
- Active RCIS or RCES certification required; BLS required; license required if applicable.
- Active certifications must be current at time of consideration — pending certifications are not accepted.
- Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required; ICU or PACU experience is a plus.
- Epic EMR experience preferred.
- Covered by a valid state license.
- Covered by a valid CPR certification.
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.
About the Role
Works alongside a charge or lead nurse and a lead tech (when staffing allows) in a collaborative, one-team environment.
Candidates are expected to be team players and assist across the combined unit as needed.
One week of orientation provided.
