ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a travel nursing job in Ithaca, New York. This professional position is responsible for the coordination of outpatient and inpatient services. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating services provided for patients. Responsibilities include linking the hospital and physicians to enhance services for inpatients and outpatients, conducting preadmission nursing assessments, coordinating procedures, and managing post-procedure care.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe and comprehensive patient care.
• Administer optimal patient care by ensuring appropriate equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Participate in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate accuracy in data collection and update patient records.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Educate patients and families to promote health and well-being.
• Develop, implement, and monitor standards, policies, and procedures.
• Flexibility in assuming other responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Current NYS Registered Nursing license.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification must be obtained prior to completion of the introductory period.

Previous hospital aide or LPN experience preferred.

Skills
