Travel Endoscopy RN - $2,539 per week

About the role

Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy position in Elmira, New York. Start date 10/18/2026, duration 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing assessments and data collection focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.
• Analyze assessment data to determine appropriate nursing diagnoses.
• Formulate a goal‑directed plan of care based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Document care provided in a timely, accurate, and concise manner in patient records.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care and progress towards patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate an awareness of legal issues in patient care and act to reduce risk.
• Engage in staff development activities to enhance nursing practice.
• Create effective working relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• Participate in emergency patient care situations efficiently and calmly.

Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Current certifications as required for unit/specialty (e.g., ACLS, BLS).
• Prior experience in gastrointestinal nursing preferred but not mandatory.

Schedule

Day/evening shift options typically from 06:30 AM to 03:00 PM or 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM. On‑call responsibilities approximately once a week and every sixth weekend.
