Travel Endoscopy RN - $2,348 per week

TotalMed RN is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that matches clinicians with facilities nationwide. They are seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for an immediate 13‑week assignment in Farmington, New Mexico. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of nursing care to patients attending the Endoscopy Unit, working within company policies and procedures.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Participate in the care and maintenance of endoscopes and other specialized equipment, ensuring an agreed standard of decontamination at all times including accurate records of traceability of all endoscopes and associated equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment within the clinical area in accordance with established standards and regulations.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Be aware of hazards from exposure to chemicals and infectious diseases.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years recent acute care experience in Endoscopy.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience (as noted in the posting).
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
