About the role
The Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The role requires strong assessment skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position involves participation in four weeknight calls and three weekend calls within a six-week schedule.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and assist with endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patients pre, intra, and post-procedure.
- Coordinate with healthcare team for optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of North Carolina.
- Prior experience in an Endoscopy or related nursing role.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Schedule
- 13-week contract position.
- 36 hours per week.
- Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Variable).
