About the role
This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:30 - 15:00). Weekend requirements: Yes, every third weekend. On-call required: Yes, one night a week.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the procedure suite with a ratio of 1:1.
- Manage pre-operative and discharge care for patients with a typical ratio of 4:1.
- Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient recovery following procedures.
- Absorb and prepare instruments for procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an endoscopy or similar setting.
- Current South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license.
- Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

- Ability to float to like units as needed, though this is highly unlikely.

Pay
The Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
