About the role

We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of conscious sedation and state-of-the-art nursing practices in an endoscopy setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures.
• Start IVs and conduct comprehensive assessments including H&P information.
• Provide post-procedure recovery care for patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC software for patient records and documentation.

Schedule

This position requires a 9-hour rotating schedule, with the possibility of on-call duties. Shift times may vary and include:

• Opening Shift: 6:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Closing Shift: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
• Other Possible Shifts: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm or 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN, with a focus on endoscopy or a related specialty.
• Experience working in a large, teaching facility is required.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications are required; AHA PALS is preferred.
• Must have EPIC experience within the last 2 years.
• Reliable transportation is essential, as public transport is not accessible in the area.

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
