About the role
This is a contract Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) position lasting 16 to 26 weeks. The role involves providing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, including monitoring during procedures and administering conscious sedation. No floating is required, and the position involves performing numerous ERCPs.
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts during the day, rotating between days and evenings
- Call shifts as required
- Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day
Responsibilities
- Start IVs and assess patient history and physical information
- Perform post-procedure recovery for patients receiving conscious sedation
- Administer conscious sedation medication and monitor patients in the procedure room
- Utilize EPIC for patient documentation (experience within the past 2 years required)
Requirements
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications (mandatory)
- AHA PALS certification (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Recent experience in a Level 1 trauma center (large teaching facility of 500+ beds)
- Experience with conscious sedation and patient monitoring

Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
