Travel Endoscopy Registered Nurse - $2,431 per week
About the role
The Level 3 RN will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the Endoscopy/GI department. This role includes assessing patients' conditions, administering medications and sedation, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Answering patient questions and addressing concerns.
- Observing and recording patient vital signs.
- Sedating patients prior to procedures.
- Recovering patients after procedures.
- Administering necessary medication to patients.
- Completing documentation including patient notes and discharge documents.
- Preparing instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment before use.
- Providing assistance to doctors during procedures.
- Administering IV drips as required.
Requirements
- Active NY State RN License.
- BLS Certification (AHA ONLY).
- ACLS Certification (AHA ONLY).
- Minimum of 2 years of Endoscopy procedure experience.
- Telemetry monitoring and rhythm identification competency.
- Experience with conscious sedation and expert IV insertion.
- Ability to recover patients from general anesthesia.
- Experience performing intake for GI procedures.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
