Travel Endo/GI Lab RN - $2,617 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Endoscopy for a 13‑week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska, starting October 26, 2026. The position requires 40 hours per week on 10‑hour day shifts. MedPro is a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency that places nursing and allied travelers in top healthcare facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessment and data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic and cognitive needs of the patient/family.
• Utilize assessment data in formulating nursing diagnoses.
• Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practice.
• Maintain personal contact with patients and relatives, being sensitive to their needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy and ensuring a friendly environment at all times.
• Store, check and administer medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
• Maintain timely and accurate nursing records and ensure confidentiality is respected.
• Work with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission and recovery of patients and other related procedures.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care endoscopy setting
