Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,484 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Utica, New York. Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility (local applicants welcome). The position starts on October 11, 2026, with a stated duration of 16 weeks (also described as a 13‑week contract assignment) and involves 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and provide treatments as required.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and document patient conditions using EMR systems, specifically EPIC.
• Manage critical situations, including the use of specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusors and Arctic Sun.
• Float to different areas of the ED as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Emergency Department, including pediatric nursing experience.
• Current RN license in New York with NURSYS license verification.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Documented travel nursing experience is mandatory.
